Vision The vision for the Fulton County ED SBIRT project is to ensure that every patient receives the right SBIRT services by the right providers every time.
Objective/Goals The project aims to:
– Implement SBIRT in the Fulton County Medical Center emergency department using an evidence-based clinical model
– Integrate SBIRT and related activities within the electronic health record (EHR) at Fulton County Medical Center
– Implement a robust quality improvement process that permits the program to continuously assess outcomes and improve processes
– Implement timely and accurate data collection processes for quality improvement activities
– Conduct and disseminate meaningful research with the evaluation data gathered.
